AIR TRAVEL TIP
Carry-ons are now restricted to one bag plus a pocketbook or
laptop computer case. Recently, I purchased a new laptop case
from Gateway that was far larger than the old Dell bag that I used
previously. (I do not know the model number, but I believe that
it is simply the larger of the two laptop cases that Gateway
offers.
On my
recent trip I was able to get tons of extra stuff into this case
(along with my laptop). These items included about 80 rolls of
(exposed) film, my daily supplements, and a few other small
items. And, there was lots more room for additional items. In
this larger Gateway case, there would even have been room for a
camera body and a short lens or two in addition to some film.
By
purchasing a larger-than-usual laptop case you can ease the
problems caused by the increasingly restrictive security measures
that have been put in place since 9-11.
