PHOTO WORKSHOP
In the last Bulletin I
forgot to mention that my friend Johann Schumacher, a fine graphic
artist and photographer, will be conducting a workshop at the
Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge on Saturday, November 23, 2002 from 10am
until 2:30. As we grew up together (photographically) at Big
John's Pond, Johann taught me tons about light and composition. I
was always amazed that even though we photographed at the same
location for nearly a decade, our images were always totally
different. And many was the night that Elaine and I and Johann and
Liesel shared trays of slides after partaking in one of Liesel's
incredible home-cooked meals.

but don't believe the bit about "for beginning and
intermediate photographers." Even advanced photographers and
professionals will learn a lot from Johann. I know, because I did.
